Description

Shindagha, located at the mouth of Dubai Creek, was a home to the ruling sheikhs and city elite until the 1950s. Although some of the architecture has been reconstructed and turned into museums, the area is currently in need of more cultural attractions. Despite its ideal position on the Creek, the area remains calm. After recent construction, a new Shindagha Museum is slated to open, as well as additional attractions such as heritage hotels, cafes, and restaurants.
