British expat Alison Collins founded Dubai's oldest fine-art gallery in 1989. This gallery, situated in an old wind-tower house on the edge of Al Fahidi Historic District, offers a variety of paintings and sculptures inspired by the region as well as pottery, glass and other crafts of great quality. Visitors will be able to admire a henna tree in the gallery's central courtyard.
