The impressive 70m minaret stands tall above the array of small and big domes that give the city's grandest mosque its unique look. The actual building, constructed in 1998, is an imitation of the original mosque that was built back in 1900. Non-Muslims are not allowed to visit this and all other mosques in Dubai, apart from Jumeirah Mosque.
