This modern museum, opened in 2017, chronicles the history of the United Arab Emirates from the discovery of oil in the 1950s to the country's birth in 1971. With documentary films, photographs, artifacts, timelines, and interactive displays, visitors can learn about the milestones leading up to and immediately following the occasion, as well as gain an appreciation for the UAE's seven founding fathers. Additionally, free tours of the nearby Union House, where the agreement was officially signed, are available.
